CYNTHIA STONE

Cynthia Stone has been creating social justice documentary-style pieces for nearly three decades. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, her work has appeared regionally on KQED, and nationally on PBS, The BBC/PRI, and The Discovery Channel, among others. She has won multiple regional Emmy, Society of Professional Journalists, and Press Club awards. Having covered education, the environment, health, poverty, and equity issues, she’s inspired to highlight people and programs finding solutions to seemingly intractable problems. The wisdom and humor of those in this film helped her better connect with, and care for, her own mother throughout her aging process from her vital active years through her memory loss. Teaming up here with award-winning Oakland-based, feature-film editor and co-producer, Linda Peckham.
LINDA PECKHAM

Linda Peckham is a 25-year veteran editor of long-form verité documentaries and character-driven dramas. No Straight Lines: The Rise of Queer Comics, which she co-edited, just had its world premiere at Tribeca. Films she’s cut have been nominated for national Emmy awards and have won many regional broadcast awards. She has a BA degree in film and an MFA degree in writing. Born in South Africa, she studied film, believing it to be the medium that most inspires change.
OWEN BISSELL
US DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Owen Bissell has been creating gorgeous imagery for the past fifteen years for a variety of clients from National Geographic to Adobe, as well as intimate verité style documentaries. He is collaborating here with veteran sound engineers Greg Miller and Hugh Scott.
RONAN FOX

Ronan Fox is an award-winning Director of Photography whose stunning imagery has taken him all over the world for 28 years. Ronan has an extensive list of credits for his documentary work. He is collaborating with second camera Shane Caffrey and veteran sound engineer Mick Cassidy on this project.

BRAZIL DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Otavio Pupo has won numerous awards for his cinematography. His feature Cabrito won best film at the Optical Theater Festival in Rome. He is collaborating here with Sound Engineer Clara Cervantes and Assistant Camera Giuliano Rossi.
CAROLINE PRIOLEAU
hear/say PROJECT CO-LEAD
Caroline Prioleau co-leads the hear/say oral history project that focuses on collecting and sharing personal stories about the experience of aging, dementia, and caregiving. The hear/say team teaches classes and workshops and has produced two books of stories, with more to come. The project focuses on ethically collecting, preserving, and sharing these stories – which is how the film got started.
